Gillian started at Radio Saltire, from home, towards the end of lockdown. She began by phoning into Mike’s Drivetime show with linked songs, then a wee a Capella! Gillian had been listening to Radio Saltire for years prior to this, especially “Soultime With Daz & Socks”. Gillian has been singing since she was four and has now been singing with China Blue every weekend since 1993.

Her favourite band is ABBA, although she loves most genres of music especially Elvis/Slade/Whitesnake/Bee Gees…the list goes on.

Her absolute pet peeve is incorrect grammar or pronunciation! Often found sharing shocking photos with Mike!
