Davie has for several years been working with many East Lothian community projects and felt it was important for there to be a platform to voice and represent the people of East Lothian. Outside the station Davie is an avid golfer and loves to help others through charity fundraising and community events. Davie presents his weekly show on Radio Saltire because of his determination to bring together the East Lothian community.

Davie presents the Sunday Breakfast show every Sunday from 8am. It is a show that celebrates music and fun. Davie strives to ensure the show generates the feel-good factor and finds that many people who have since moved away from East Lothian listen in for updates about home.
