David joined Radio Saltire initially back in 2014 after being intrigued about local radio whilst I was a guest being interviewed. He left in 2018 but couldn't stay away and came back in 2021.

His favourite band is Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - not a classical band as some might note, but rather a synth-pop band active from 1978 onwards.

His guilty pleasure is 'Hoedown Throwdown' by Miley Cyrus and his pet peeve is when people fail to acknowledge simple acts of kindness from others i.e opening doors for others etc. He's not a fan of Taylor Swift. Sorry Swifties.
